Last year I and my wife we wanted to explore Uganda and being this destination was new to our travel list we were a bit challenged on what to start with. But since before our travel plans are put on planning stage, we always do research on the holiday we want to take.
The same we did and visited the trip advisor forum and we started searching on the car rental with rooftop tent in Uganda and just few minutes we found various car rental agencies. They were quite many with reviews and we found 4×4 Car Hire Uganda the best and we sent in our request for the 4×4 jeep and rooftop tent, just after minutes Mike the reservation consultant from this agencies responded with a well detailed response.
We had so many questions regarding the car, routes, the rooftop tent and the camping gears but definitely Mike positively responded them well and we had to decide and go with his services and when it came to the fares and we were on a long term rental to deeply explore almost all of the Uganda Parks Mike gave us a good price for the car and the other logistics.
When you look at the various car rental websites online you that the 4×4 car rental rooftop tent and camping gears you find that the price per day is between 90$ – 110$ US but from our good communication we managed to acquire this service at 80$ US and Mike has got a 24/7hrs. communication system of which that after few days he managed to write to us via what’s app and inquiring whether we are fine with everything and we found this so hospitable.
Uganda has got so many various towns and entry points so if you want to rent the jeep with rooftop tent and you want this services to find you where you are any time definitely this agency team is well organized and they will arrange and deliver the jeep to you though you will meet some reasonable logistics.

Thereafter, next day we started our journey to Sipi Falls and here we enjoyed the village walk that took us to the coffee tour experience and the hike to the falls and if you have been to Uganda, you can start planning and go on the next summer.
After we leisurely drove to the next town Moroto but via the most and now loved Pian Upe Reserve and on our en-route game we spotted wildlife and when you look at your back and the side ways you will enjoy the undulating green landscapes. Later we drove to Kara-tunga Camp and here still we stayed in our rooftop tent and then got dinner from their restaurant.
As we were briefed about the amazing culture of this Karamoja region we camped at the Kara-tunga and we were advised to deal with the team here to arrange for us this experience that even included us to stay in the villages but with our jeep and Simon worked on the program and we took one night stay in the locals and we had the goat roasting as we found other tourists from Russia for the same company but them were on an escorted trip.
Later after being filled with the Karamoja culture, we continued our journey to the Kaboong visit the IK in the forest and mountains and stay at the Kaboong Resort and flexible is these facilities we always stayed in our rooftop tent.
