After exploring Jinja and all it offers, proceed to Sipi Falls and with your leisurely drive through the beautiful eastern villages arrive at this mountainous area with so many beautiful landscapes that you wouldn’t miss while on your self-drive with 4×4 rooftop tent in Africa. Here you will enjoy the visit to the amazing Sipi falls and the local coffee tour experience. People leaving in the mountain areas grow up Arabica coffee and they do offer coffee tours to travelers visiting the area and this experience takes you from garden to the cup tasting the coffee.
Today, after breakfast, proceed to Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve and here with your cameras get ready to capture the unforgettable and memorable images of the wildlife and undulating landscapes in the Karamoja region. After drive to the Moroto town at the Kara-tunga safari camp and here with the team arrange the visit to the Karamoja villages or stay in the villages if the security is safe. But, if security not good enough visit and after return to the camp for your overnight and dinner. After, with the local on the next day visit to the Nakaperimulo village one of the biggest villages in East Africa.
Discover more secrets of northern Uganda by visiting the IK tribe in the mountains and to access this transfer to the Timu Eco Camp in Kaabong district and take hike and after you can enjoy the local meal of the village. Lunch take the Rice with local chicken mixed with beans and remember on this experience you will also see the life survival of the locals on the cows blood and milk. After, all this experience transfer to Kidepo Valley National Game Park and upon arrival retire at the Apoka Camp or Kakine Camp in the wilderness of Northern Uganda.
Kidepo Valley National Game Park is situated in northern corridor of Uganda and Kenya and it is so interesting to visit as you will spot the rare wildlife species that cross from the Kenya parks to Kidepo. When it comes to culture, here you find so many identical tribes that leave both in Kenya and Uganda. On day and night games you will spot various wildlife species, birds, butterflies and so many beautiful landscapes.
After experiencing what all that Kidepo Valley National Game Park offers proceed to Murchison Falls National Game Park via the Kitgum and Gulu town and upon arrival at this park check-in from Tangi gate and take game drive looking for the African wildlife like giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, water and bush bucks, Antelopes among others with the spot of the birdlife species. After proceed to Red Chill Rest Camp for the retiring in our 4×4 rooftop tent. Early morning game drive looking for more wildlife that were missed the previous day, this experience takes 3 – 4 hours and after return to the camp for the hot lunch as you wait for the afternoon boat cruise along the River Nile towards the bottom of the Falls and here you will amazingly view nicely how this River flows through the rock gorge.
After, we embark the 4×4 jeep and return to the camp for an overnight and with your own rooftop tent and camping gears prepare the meal and experience the campfire. Retire in our rooftop tent and that marks the end of the day. Early morning breakfast, transfer to Kabarole with en-route visit to the top of the falls and here you will again have the amazing view of the River flowing down through the rock gorge and also from here you see the another Uhuru falls. After proceed with the journey through the green landscapes of the Hoima and proceed to Fort Portal town and here proceed to the Little Monkey Camp for your overnight.
Early morning breakfast, transfer to the Kanyanchu chimpanzee starting point for the briefing about the chimpanzee trekking and Kibale Fores National Park habitat and other primates, birds, butterflies, reptiles and the Bigodi walk experience. After, the briefing about the chimps and habitat enter into the tropical forest in a group of 12 people and walk to the last destination previously seen the primates. Walk following the tracking of the apes and once found them in 01-hour take unforgettable photos and videos. Return to your camp for your lunch and then in the evening take nature walk in the Bigodi wetland looking for more primates, birds and butterflies. The Chimpanzee permits cost $ 250 for the foreign non-residents, $ 200 for the foreign residents, $ 50 for the East African residents. Also, from Kibale Forest National Park you can experience the 4-hour Chimpanzee Habituation Experience costing $ 300 Foreign non-residents, $ 250 Foreign residents and then $70 East African residents. After exploring Uganda’s local side return back to Entebbe and visit to the Mabamba wetland for the shoe bill stork and then in the night take flight back home.
